What is new for Super Mario Galaxy 2?
Blimp Yoshi
When Yoshi eats a Blimp Fruit, he inflates like a balloon for a limited amount of time, allowing you to reach areas that cannot be reached normally!
Flash/Light Yoshi
When Yoshi eats a Light Fruit he glows for a limited time allowing him to light dark, or maybe invisible paths. He can only walk on them when they are lit though!
Dash Yoshi
When Yoshi eats a Dash Pepper he turns red and runs super fast. This will allow him to travel up hills without falling down. It only lasts for a limited amount of time, though.
Drill Mario
Drill Mario was ment to be in the first Galaxy but Nintendo felt like there was already enough in the game. When mario jumps on top of a drill he will carry it on his head. When you shake the wii remote he will drill into the planet.
Rock Mario
If Mario sees a certain type of rock and touches it, he will turn into Rock Mario, allowing him to roll around like a boulder with the shake of your wii remote.
Cloud Mario
When Mario touches a Cloud Mushroom he will transform into Cloud Mario. Every time you shake the wii remote a cloud will appear beneath you for you to walk on. Be careful, each Cloud Flower only gives you three clouds.
